Sacred Blue

In times of traditional mayhem
These times we find
So hard to be true
I look deep inside
I do
To find what’s needed to be
True

Am I Sacred Blue
Am I?

I reach into my pocket for
Lint and spare change
And give it to the guy who
Plays guitar on the street corner

True to my heart I give
To you
True to my heart I do
I offer what little I have
To you
What little I have is for you

In times of traditional mayhem
These times we find
So hard to be true
I look deep inside
I do

To find what’s needed to be
True
I am Sacred Blue
I am

And when you hear me
And when you see me
And when you feel me
You will ask
Who am I
Who am I?
I’m a lean, mean Okanagan machine
One with words
One with mind
One with her own kind

Neither hear nor there
I am everywhere
Hearing
Seeing
Beware

Beware the Okanagan machine
Beware

I emulate, emancipate, stimulate
